Tabacalera Palma is one of the oldest tobacco companies in the Dominican Republic, having been established by the Blanco family in 1936. Today, it is run by José “Jochy” Blanco, who has endured hard work to grow the family tobacco business since the early 1980’s. Ever since Jochy assumed the role of CEO in Tabacalera Palma, the company has developed numerous private labels for some of the leading cigar companies in the world, and has created it’s critically-acclaimed flagship brand, La Galera.

Wrapped with a rich Connecticut Ecuador leaf, and a binder & filler combination composed of Dominican grown seeds from Tabacalera Palma’s state of the art farms, La Galera Connecticut bestows the smoker with a delightful smoke that lingers with pleasurable taste and savour. These fine tobaccos are skillfully rolled through a delicate artisanal process that makes their high quality finish a certainty.
